What a GREAT idea, Madge. Might have to take this one! (Along with the meanderers tour with Shawn, my fellow meanderer!)

Question about almond milk, does it add any sweetness of any kind? Just wondering if it changes the taste of recipes if I add it instead of regular milk.

You can add it without much difference in a recipe ... It is not as rich as milk. But I use it. I also make my own ... But store bought unsweetened is good ... You will have to see for yourself, though. Everyone tastes things a bit differently. I prefer almond milk over soy or rice milk. Let me know what you think ...

Might have to get that book, it's even endorsed by Jacques Pepin. But which How to cook everything is it? The How to Cook Everything Basic? or just How to Cook Everything? I see there is Vegetarian one too.

I'm just trying to become more aware. I have to eat better. Losing some weight has to be my goal. Its tough but i really have to give it a go. Breakfast is my big thing. I have to eat healthier, I just have no imagination on what to have in the am, well other than what I'm used to. I don't eat breakfast when I'm working. But I do on the weekends. Oatmeal at work is getting boring, if I do eat something. It's too sweet.

I hear you! I usually do a green juice in the morning with a large glass if water. I like to flush my system with liquid first thing... Nothing cold or too sweet ... Then I will have something with protein at about 10am .... The quinoa or granola is great and filling .... Good for you! And keep up with it... Email if you need encouragement!!
